Family Born. Youth Led. Values Driven. Empowering Young Champions.

Our mission
To support families and young people aged 10–25 affected by multiple disadvantage by providing high quality, person centred support, and advocating for systemic change.

Who are we?
EYC is a family born, youth led, values driven organisation that uses lived experience, professional and academic expertise to support young people experiencing multiple disadvantage with working towards a positive future.

How do we support young people?
At EYC, we support support professionals working with young people, and young people and families. This enables us to help them navigate complex systems and challenges while equipping them with skills to help others, or progress independently. This is done by:
-
Using Freirian principles to create meaningful dialogue to redistribute power and hear from those impacted on what does and does not work.
-
Use a person centred approach to support young people and families across multiple systems and services.
-
Delivering workshops and bespoke programmes to support professionals supporting young people, young people and families.
-
Provide transitional support through key life transitions across education, care, health, and criminal justice pathways.
-
Managing and creating programmes collaboratively with partner organisations to maximise impact, alignment, and quality of support.
