EYC were invited back onto Catch 22s Experts by Experience podcast series, amplifying lived experience and challenging systemic barriers. Part 2 hears from Ryan and Annette deepening the conversation how the project came to be and insights on change required for children and families.

Marys Charity - Thrive x EYC - Workshop 1 (Nutrition)
Working alongside Mary's Charity and its Thrive programme, EYC delivered an interactive nutrition workshop focused on wellbeing and healthy habits.
The session supported young people to build practical knowledge around food, health and self care.

Transition programme - Workshop 3
For the 3rd workshop of our Transition Programme, Stefan O'Connor shared his journey with the 17 young people in attendance. Following this, we reflected on the progress made towards the goals the boys have set for themselves with one of the boys winning a prize for the most progress

Valley Primary - Primary to Secondary workshop
We partnered with Valley Primary School to support pupils preparing for the move to secondary school.
This first workshop was a co-creation session with young people to help with understanding how the young people would like to be supported through this programme.

IncludEd Conference
At The IncludEd Conference, we collaborated with CAPE Mentors to put together a panel of 5 young people where they provided insights on what being a trusted adult means, how they feel on the terminology, and how adults can support young people in education and community spaces.

Fundraising - Hurricane Melissa
In response to Hurricane Melissa, we mobilised fundraising efforts to support affected communities.
This initiative reflects our commitment to standing alongside young people and families during times of crisis.

Palace for Life - Employment Trip
Young people from our 16-19 and transitions programme attended an employment insight visit with Palace for Life Foundation, exploring career pathways and workplace environments. The trip resulted in all 5 signing upto a PfL employability programme reducing the risk of falling into and maintaining NEET status.

Bramley Grange Academy - Specialist Provision Guest Talk
We delivered a guest talk at specialist provision at Bramley Grange Academy focusing on decision making and relationships to 28 young people across year 7, 8 and 9. The sessions encouraged reflection on relationshi skills and education.

Transitions Programme - Workshop 2
Workshop 2 of the Transitions Programme built on goal setting and personal development foundations. Participants strengthened communication skills and clarified next steps in their individual journeys.

Radwan Hashim Legacy Cup
The Radwan Hashim Legacy Cup held in collaboration with Haverstock school brought young people together through sport, leadership and community engagement. The event was organised by young people and staff in order to raise money for a well to be built in Somalia in memory of Radwan

Beyond Football Conference
As one of the supporters of the Beyond Football Conference, 3 young people on EYC programmes attended the conference in order to network with professionals all with an underlying interest in sport or actively playing professional football.

Transitions Programme - Workshop 1
The first Transitions Programme workshop introduced young people to reflective practice and future planning.
Participants began building the confidence and skills needed to navigate upcoming life changes.

Enzo is a mascot!
Starboy Enzo was a mascot at the Arsenal vs Brighton game today. His dad Ashley (one of our directors) is extremely proud and Enzo felt inspired by the opportunity to help him on his journey to becoming a professional footballer.

Baller League
A couple of our young people attended Baller League today and had an opportunity to meet with a range of modern day influencers. The experience reinforced how football environments can be powerful spaces for mentorship, confidence building and opportunity.

Carshalton Athletic - FA Youth Cup vs Tooting and Mitcham
We went to watch young people on our 16-19 programme playing in the FA Youth Cup fixture between Carshalton Athletic and Tooting & Mitcham United. Carshalton ended up 2-1 winners in a match that saw over 400 people attend the fixture.

SEND Academy Hertfordshire County Council - Guest Talk
We delivered a guest talk in partnership with Hertfordshire County Council for their SEND Academy, sharing insights on trauma informed and inclusive practice. The session focused on supporting young people with additional needs through sharing of lived experience, professional experiences and thought provoking anecdotes for professionals to take away and implement in their own practise.

British Education Research Association (BERA) - Guest Talk
At the British Educational Research Association, we contributed to sector wide dialogue on research, policy and youth outcomes. Our talk highlighted Paolo Freire's critical pedagogy and how this approach can empower young people to have a voice as well as sharing of insights from one of our young people.

The Streetz Football x EYC - Community Programme - Successful 10k proposal!
In partnership with The Streetz Football, we secured a successful £10k proposal to deliver a community focused youth programme. The funding will expand access to structured sport, mentoring and positive development opportunities.

First 16-19 Programme Cohort Completed - Congratulations!
We proudly celebrated the completion of our first 16–19 programme cohort, marking a major milestone for participants and the organisation. The cohort demonstrated growth in confidence and future planning as they progress to their next steps post college.
